Plant an organic start

Take pots with holes or even use potholes, fill with suitably-sized pebbles, put in the soil, use phostrogen fertiliser and food. Tend to the plants on a regular basis and they will grow well and healthy.

Other plants can try try

Chilly Jubu
(not just the ubiquitous Padi)

Rice
(of course since it is the Asian Staple but not strictly applicable now?)

Viet mint (vietminh?) aka
Leaf Laksa or

Leaf Curry
(not just flavourful, can curry favour with this)
(not stereotyping but ladies do this well, er, by somehow pointing their fingers and curry some favour or flavor out of somebody's fish head)

Ladies finger
(Can men plant these? O God ...)

The popular
sweet basil
(In Pesta Sauce and Italina Pasta like those prepared by my nieces) or

Thai basil
(tastes like liquorice)

Lemongrass
(Pasted on Thai Curry?) or

Lemon balm

Lime

Coriander sawtooth
(or any other imaginable )

Angled Loofah

Borage

Chives

Places to get planted for a few hours per visit.

Naturally, plants got to take care of themselves. Artificially, man cannot find the time to take care of them

Man, no excuse ... the environment is in your hands ???

Aloe Vera ! By The Side (BTS) ?

Minted legally from Australia

Ate a few without any effect in the stomach, no rumbling whatsoever, so no grumbling from the eater ...

Can feel the fullness not in one's tummy but in the leaves ...

Chillies for own consumption (legal)

No adverse effects eg "stom-ache" or chillies in the pants (rather ants in the pants feeling) ...

Full sunlight

and therefore let

plant drink

when thirsty.
